¶ Feature description
This feature allow to select several Map Places and proceed to be absorbed/replaced by a related parent one.
There are 2 variants of this feature:
- Absorb : The child Map Places disappears from the Map and will only remain visible the parent Map Place
- Absorb & replicate parent : The child Map Places disappears from the Map and will only remain visible the parent Map Place and a COPY of the parent Map Place on each place location (latitude/longitude) of each previous child.

¶ Functional Configuration
Before start using it, in order to configure this feature you must follow this steps:
¶ Activate an Odoo CRON
You have to activate this cron:
This cron will manage the Submissions related to the child places (see details later on)
¶ Define and translate personalized mail templates
Go to Community Maps > Maps --> enter into the desired Map to configure, and go to the tab Submissions transfer:
The left column is showing 2 field that refer to the 2 official/fallback mail templates that will be used to:
- Confirmation submissions transfer : when a child Map Place disappear from the Map and is merged to a parent, if this child place already have any submission ( persons that have applied to the related crowdfunding form ) Odoo will send a email to those persons announcing that if in a interval of 7 days they do not manifest any explicit opposition, their submission contact data will be transfered to the parent Map Place (into this mail there is a LINK that the person can follow to explicit declare the opposition).
- Submissions transfer successful : after 7 days, if the person have not explicitly declared the opposition, Odoo will sent a second email confirmation the contact data transfer from child to parent Map Place.
The right column is showing 2 optional fields that can contain the related 2 custom mail templates. Those ones are optional. If they are not implemented Odoo will use the official/fallback ones.
In order to build each custom one you can proceed by:

Duplicate the official email template.

Select the new copied template into the custom field:

Proceed to modify the subject/body/config of the custom mail template as per your communication needs and also proceed to apply the needed translations.

¶ How to use this feature

Select the Map Places (Child ones) that must be absorbed by a Parent one --> Action: "Collect places as childs"
CAUTION --> this feature is designed to use child places in To be activated status ("CE Per Activar"), it means places related to the Crowdfunding campaign (CA: campanya "Suma't"). Do not select Open places ("CE Oberta") as child ones. -
On this wizard Collect child Places:
- Collect behaviour --> select the variant of this feature you want to apply:
- Replicate same place on multiple locations: will hide (unpublished) from map all the child ones and, at the end of the process, in addition to the parent one, will show a copy of the parent one in each of the locations (lat/long) related to the child ones. Example: from 3 child A,B,C and one Parent Z, ... to 4 Places Z (the original parent + 3 places that are copies of Z but located on the original places of A,B,C). If exist, the submissions of A,B,C will be transferred to Z (see later on the details of submissions management).
- Absorb places on another and delete the initial ones: will hide (unpublished) from map all the child ones and at the end of the process will show only the Parent one. Example: from 3 child A,B,C and one Parent Z, ... to only have Z. If exist, the submissions of A,B,C will be transferred to Z (see later on the details of submissions management).
- Destination Place --> select the Parent One. CAUTION: This feature is oriented to to use as parent a place that should be an already Open place ("CE Oberta", with landing page), but in case of need you can also use as parent a To be activated place ("CE Per Activar").
- Send mail to ... --> If selected, the emails to all the submission contacts of the child places will be sent just when you press the "Process" button. If not you can do it later on.
- Collected Child Places --> Here you have the list of selected child places. You can still here add/remove additional places.
- Collect behaviour --> select the variant of this feature you want to apply:

Press the Process button --> Odoo will:

Unpublish from Map all the child ones (they will dissappear from public map), and assigng them the status of "Movement requested Place":

If the feature variant applied is Replicate same place on multiple locations, will appear on the Map the related copies of the parent place.

On the form related to the parent place, there is a tab called "Chil Places":
- there is a Child places field: List of the absorbed child places. If the fields Lat. and Long. are maintained, it means that the feature variant applied is Replicate same place on multiple locations, if not, the feature variant applied is Absorb places on another and delete the initial ones. But here you can EDIT and:
- Remove/Add lat/long fields from a line in order to unpublish/publish the related parent copy place from Map.
- Modify lat/long in order to change the current position of each copy of the parent point.
- Add manually a new copy of parent place into a desired Map location (lat/long)
- there is a Child places field: List of the absorbed child places. If the fields Lat. and Long. are maintained, it means that the feature variant applied is Replicate same place on multiple locations, if not, the feature variant applied is Absorb places on another and delete the initial ones. But here you can EDIT and:

Press the button Send submissions transfers notifications (on parent place form header):
- CAUTION: if you have already selected the checkbox Send email to users ... on the wizard Collect child Places, the action related to this button will be already executed on Process the wizard and this button Send submissions transfers notifications will not be available.
- If there are any child place with related submissions, it will send the Confirmation submissions transfer mail (see above section of Initial configuration) to all those Submissions.
- On this email, we advise that, if the recipient do not opposite, in 7 days his submission contact data will be transferred to the parent place. In the body of that mail there is a link the recipient can follow to explicitly manifest his opposition. CAUTION: when somebody follow the URL to do not accept the contact information transfer:

... Odoo is redirecting to this EN page that at April 2024 is not sill translated (TO-DO !):
NOTE: in case you need to add new child places to the table "Child Places " (on parent place form view) after have been dent the email, you can add those additional child places manually to this table and press again the button to force the sending of the emails for the new places added.

Once the emails have been send, Odoo is filling those fields:
This Pending submissions transfer requests table will show all the Submissions related to the child places that have received the above email. Those records will stay here during 7 days. If on this period, if there are some submissions that have denied the contact data transfer, it will be moved to this other table/field Rejected submission transfer request:

- After 7 days (there is a CRON in Odoo responsible to take control of it), Odoo will automatically proceed to:

All the submissions that have not denied the contact data transfer:
- Will be moved from Pending submissions transfer requests table to the Accepted submissions transfer request table.
- All of them will be definitively assigned to the Parent Place
- Odoo will send the email Submissions transfer successful to all those submissions (see above section of Initial configuration).

All the Rejected submissions:
- Will stay in Rejected submission transfer request table.
- Will remain related to its respective/original child place.

All the child places will be archived (including the ones that still have related the denied submissions)

There is a global view in Odoo (Community Maps Module > Submission transfers menu item ) where All the submissions on rejected & pending status will be showed:
Note: The Rejected submissions need to be managed one by one, contacting with the related contact in order to understand why has denied to be involved with the proposed Parent Place.
